This sturdy magnetic door stop is very versatile: thanks to the round magnetic contact surface, ferromagnetic objects attach at an angle of 280° and counterparts do not have to fit exactly over the magnet. This is especially ideal if the door doesn’t hit the stopper at a right angle.
You can screw the magnetic door stop, also known as a door catch, to the back of a door or directly to a wall. For ferromagnetic doors (e.g. steel doors), we recommend attaching the stopper to the wall. This will eliminate the need for an additional counterpart for the magnet. For wooden doors, you will need a screw-mounted metal disc as a counterpart. You can find them linked under "recommended accessories".
The built-in neodymium magnet is not suitable for outdoor use because it will rust and lose its magnetisation. Therefore, we recommend this door stop for indoor use only.
