Coins on a COLOSSUS

I created various sculptures with a COLOSSUS and many 5 cents coins. The attractive force of a COLOSSUS is truly amazing - it can hold up to ten rows of 5 cents coins! And it even holds nine rows of these coins through a 1 cm thick kitchen shelf (see below)!
It's difficult to get these coins off the COLOSSUS again!

I got the idea for these sculptures when I saw the picture of a Christmas tree on a DEATH MAGNET (on the bottom of the page).

Alternative with scratch protection

Since magnets scratch relatively easily and get damaged when colliding, our customer Christoph Müller from Switzerland glued the COLOSSUS into a cover of very thin nutwood. The cover is treated with varnish. The attractive force of the magnet is still immense as you can see on his pictures. They also show that these sculptures are not just possible with cent coins.
Former version: Here I used plywood instead of nutwood - not as pretty but sufficient.
